Yes. Every spot, review, photo and filter is free, with no account required. An optional Premium subscription pays the server bills and adds conveniences like offline maps — it never locks away a single spot.
How many spots are there?
More than 400,000 worldwide, with many reviews from travellers.
Do I need an account?
No. Browsing the map, leaving a review and adding a spot all work without one — anonymous contributions simply go through moderation first. An account lets you save favourites, build lists and keep track of what you have posted.
Does it work without an internet connection?
With Premium you can download a region — markers and full spot details — and use it with no signal at all.
What kind of spots are listed?
Free, paid and private motorhome areas, campsites, farms, picnic and rest areas, viewpoints, day parking, off-road spots and service areas.
Can I add a spot myself?
Yes, with or without an account. Drop a pin on the map, describe it, and it appears once a moderator approves it. Verified spots are also shared back to OpenStreetMap so everyone benefits.
