Switch to IGN topographic or satellite basemaps, or download a whole region and use it with no signal at all. All without switching between dozens of apps.

Wildfire season changes where it's safe to sleep. We pull active fire detections every hour and warn you when a spot sits near one. This season's burnt-area perimeters show you the ground that has already gone.
Beat the Heat
A bare parking lot in full August sun makes for a miserable night. We scored every spot for tree cover so you can filter for shade and see at a glance whether you'll wake up in an oven. A sun-path dome on each spot shows exactly where the sun rises, crosses and sets, so you know which side to park on. And when the valley becomes unbearable, the altitude filter takes you up: roughly 6 °C cooler for every 1,000 m you climb.
